You can now display charts directly in Google Sites. Once you select a spreadsheet, the editor picks existing charts from the spreadsheet to embed into a Site.
Users have 2 modes to choose from when showing data; Snapshot and Live.
Live offers users dynamic charts
Once a chart is embedded on the Site, it displays the newest data from Spreadsheets. This is very helpful if a spreadsheet data uses a script or was uploaded manually.
Snapshot means just that.
Since a snapshot was taken at a certain point of time, the displayed and stored data is exactly the made to it later on.
